We will operate legally and ethically at all times. We do not divulge your personal details to any third party without your consent.

We reserve the right to use any artwork sent on our web site or in promotional material unless specifically asked not to.

We respect your consumer rights and legal protection under the data-protection act and GDPR, see policy page and GDPR statement.

By ordering from you agree to pay us in UK sterling for a cake to be delivered on a specified date.
Our payment card handlers will deduct payment in the local currency, e.g. Stirling or US Dollars etc.

Please note when cakes are collected, we will ask you to check the cake and sign our order form, to agree that the details are correct and that the cake is in good condition.
As a gesture of good will we may be able to rectify mistakes but we do not accept responsibility once the customer has left our premises.
Simarliy if the cake is damaged in transit by the customer we cannot be held responsible.We will offer advice on storage and transit, but again will not be held responsible if we are not delivering the cake/s.

The cake will be delivered by one of’s local cake delivery self-employed Drivers. All delivery vehicles are tracked. We will not grant a refund if we are unable to deliver due to absence at the delivery address on the order form. If the recipient is absent our drivers will do their absolute best to leave the cake in a safe place, usually with a neighbour. We cannot be held responsible for changes and amendments made after the order is placed by you the customer on-line. The responsibility is with the customer to arrange redelivery or collection and we cannot accept liability for late delivery.

Our drivers are paid by the hour and are unable to wait at each delivery. They are instructed to wait for a maximum of 10 minutes and only if it is both safe and they are parked in such a place to not attract a parking ticket or fine. If delivery is delayed we reserve the right to bill your card directly for every 5 minute wait over the ten minutes at a rate of £20/hour. Please respond promptly to calls, texts and emails on the day of delivery to avoid these unwanted extra charges. Please also ensure your contact details are correct and up to date and the delivery details are 100% correct.

We reserve the right to change the products and colours from the pictures shown if necessary, we only do this to benifit you the customer. The colours are matched closely but are not pantones; this is an edible product after all. Please note different cake decorators have different styles so slight variations in decoration style are possible and we are not liable to replace products due to this personalisation. Our cakes are handmade and not mass produced so each cake is individual to you; this is what makes them so special. The website pictures are a guide but the final product may vary slightly.
We reserve the right to change price if clients ask for more than shown on the image provided on the website.

Photo cakes are reproduced from your image, the quality is dependent on the quality of the image supplied. We may alert you if the picture is unaccetable, but we can not be held responsible to do so. We reserve the right to refuse orders on the basis of decency and not print offensive pictures or images. Pictures taken of customers cakes before delivery may be used for marketing or on our website. Your rights to the image pass to ourselves, generally we will ask your permission to use them, however we are not required to do so.

We can not be held responsible for changes to order details ( flavours, sizes, colours, messages, addresses, dates). Where possible we will confirm in writing any change you request. We reserve the right to charge for the changes and will inform you of this cost. If we do not confirm the ammendment in writing then it has not been possible to meet your request.

Cancellations made with more than 7 clear working days’ notice from the delivery date will be charged a 20% fee to cover credit card charges and administration costs. Cancellations made with more than 3 days’ notice from the delivery date will be charged a 50% fee to cover credit card charges and administration costs. Cancellations made within 3 days of the delivery date will not be accepted. For immediate cancellations (within an hour of completion) a £7 cancellation fee will apply.
Orders placed by telephone, email or in writing are subject automatically to the same conditions herein.

In the unlikely event that your cake is incorrect, this must be bought to our attention upon delivery, you will be asked to sign for the goods upon delivery. Call us on 0845 3900 900 or 020 8450 6788 or 07545 696938 out of hours. If time allows and it is our mistake we will do our absolute best to correct any errors made. As we are based in London, any error is fixable if we are given enough notice. To facilitate a correction we will regquire 4 hours after being informed of the error. Failure to inform us within this time frame or allow for a replacement could render any complaint null and void.

If you are at all unhappy with the taste of the cake, please keep a sample so that we may trace the batch and examine our HACCP records for any inconsistency. Complaints will have to be made on the same of the cake cutting. Arrangements will be made for the cake to be recollected.

We can only offer a refund as a gesture of goodwill if the cake has not been consumed and our investigations confirm the cake not to be of our normally high standard or we cannot rectify a mistake made. We will only consider issues with your order if notified within 24 hours of delivery.
